I created a foundry that takes place in the sewers under Protector's Enclave. At the end of the quest, you climb back up to the surface. The problem is that when you appear back in PE, you're standing in front of Neverember's counsel room. Is there any way to appear (zone in) next to a sewer grate?
Sorta... I have run into 2 scenarios. This fits yours best:
Quest starts in PE, a few map changes, then I have them travel via map to Blacklack and enter a door there in the Adv. Zone. After another couple map changes the quest ends and they appear in Blacklack at the door they went into. Everytime. I had to make them leave via map to avoid it.
Try this if not to arduous. Duplicate your map. Have a point that breaks the map so you leave back to PE via the world map. (can explain it later if it works, as a blocked way taking you way off the path...etc)
First try without any objective in the map except re-entering your map at the point you want them to be exiting in the end. Run the rest of your map(s) to the existing exit point normally. (so they port directly to the next map if there is more)
See if they exit at the last zone entry point. You may need to move your original entry point into the sewers or make a universal drop-in with 3 possible exits to explain why the same entrance gets them to different areas. If this works.
I'm not sure, but I think that only happens when testing the quest in the foundry editor, I think in game you appear from where you entered, but like I said, I'm not sure.
In my City Skirmish quest I have PCs leave from Blacklake District -- upon finishing quest, they are returned to the exact transition point they entered.
I think it matters if you actually specify the quest entry transition point and not just the overland map.
There does seem to be a new bug. I did a foundry yesterday in the 'real game' and ended up spawning up the stairs instead of back in the dread-ring where I started.
