I did this last night on a level 21 DC. This was the third time I've done it, all at level 21 - CW, HR, and now DC. For all three, I actually found the first room to be the hardest.

For my CW and HR I used healer companion, and found the whole thing pretty easy.

For my DC, I did NOT use tank companion. Instead, I used the Renegade Illusionist that you got from the ARC promotion. Each time, I entered the room carefully, took out the side adds and then took on the main mob. I did a lot of healing, with occasional DPS. I popped a lot of pots. But this way my companion did a major chunk of the damage and I could worry about keeping us alive (he actually died in the first room, but not in the rest of it).

For the next-to-last room, I saved my stamina until the SECOND red circle. Don't worry about moving while the circle is shrinking around you; when the next one comes up, get out of it. I used my divinity primarily for heals, occasionally for knockback and at the end I would use it to finish burning down the mob.

I'm pretty sure the key is to get rid of adds ASAP, so that you can just worry about the big one and move around wherever you need to.

I've done this on multiple classes. I had the hardest time with my TR (who had just hit 60 at the time) and my DC (who was at level 37, I think). I remember being extremely frustrated when I was doing the quest with my DC. But those were the first two times I did the quest too. Had an easier time with my HR (at level 21-ish), thanks to AoE attacks helping to drop the adds while I kept moving and letting the big bad chase me.

My GWF (at level 21-ish too), however, tore through the quest like a whirling dervish of destruction.

^This. My GWF ripped through like butter. I was actually stunned at how much easier it was than with my DC. I suspect DC will get the short end of the stick (difficulty-wise) in this quest. I found the Wizard was much easier than DC, but not as easy as GWF. The same with HR. My new level 20-ish TR already has a Thayan Book so I dunno if I'll bother with this quest (not sure it's worth it for the low-end reward in comparison). LOL// broken carriage returns //On the *creativity* aspect: two-thumbs-up to Cryptic for coming up with this design and theme. It's fresh and very interesting as atmosphere goes. It reminds me of the incomplete movie Bruce Lee was working on when he died that featured the climax of working his way up to the top of a Pagoda, finishing-off each floor boss and going up from there.
