Wow, this is a surprise. This quest is 45 minutes, not 16 minutes. It can't be done in 16 minutes. If people are expecting a short little trip, they will be disappointed by the longer time.

Also, keep a sense of humor please. This quest tries to do some things that are not quite supported in the the foundry, so you may notice some oddities :D

Strange! The in-game catalog says 16 minutes. I'll update the blog!

    Congratulation, izatar!
I just played your fantastic quest with my Lev 60. GWF.
    Two question:

1.How could you increase the size of friendly character? I suspect, when my character became biggest, the others are smaller...:) and the details of the room changed.

2.Which effect you used like barrier in the doorways?

Thank you in advance for your reply!

    Thanks for the encouraging words!

    1) To get NPCs to appear to change to giant size, I used fire giants in costumes! Doing this was not so simple. There are only a few giant templates, and they have some fixed traits like facial hair, and the female has a weird stance. Confounding even more is the fact that they have to match a human size and mini-size costumed female halfling. This is the reason why the NPCs all have specific oddities, like extra large heads. It took a lot of time to find costumes that worked in all three sizes!
As you suspected, to make the player appear to change size, instead I made everything else appear to shrink in size. This was also quite difficult as objects cannot actually be resized. What I did was find the few objects that do have a large and small size already in the foundry. The real victory was making it appear like the cobblestones had shrunk, which was possible because there is a particular platform has a shrunken version of the pe-wall texture which I used as the floor. As I said before, the mini-npcs are done with female halflings.

    2) the effect of the doorways is done with a water plane rotated 90 degrees. When I made this quest, there was no magical barrier so that is how I had to do it. Since the sharandar foundry update, there is a magical barrier object that can be used.

I do have some missions I am working on, however issues with the catalog have made me postpone completing them.

There are some catalog changes coming in the PVP patch. Did you take a look at them? I think they look pretty good personally.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

The only coming change I am aware of is by default quests you have already played will be hidden in the catalog. Are there others?

I had this problem happen in the Cloak Tower Dragon Cult quest. I ran all the way back to the campfire. When I returned, it worked correctly, so I didn't lose the entire quest.

It will also allow players to scroll down and basically see every quest on the list rather then it just being set where you can't find them if they don't show up. Though the hiding quests you have already played is a big one. It's hard to explain everything, you may want to log on to preview yourself, there are enough quests there to see how the catalogue changes work.
