Insecure login

I don't remember it being like this before, but I just noticed that when I enter my username and password to log in to the forum, the connection isn't encrypted.
Likewise, if within game I hit Y and then "Buy Zen", I am taken to an insecure (not https) login prompt. And in either case, I can't force it to https.
Seriously PW? You can't afford a certificate so that we don't transmit our login information in clear text?
Or is it just me? I could have sworn I could get a secure login prompt before?
