Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that around areas of PE your weapon will change colors? Also, does anyone know why this happens?

Personally I don't mind but I cant help being curious about it. I've noticed this on my TR, my GWF and my HR all of which are on different accounts so its not just an account bug. Added a pic below to show what I mean.

And yes, I know this pic shows a 2nd glitch since I have a bow in my hand and on my back but even without said glitch I still get the christmas colored weapons.

Happens with Vorpal; does not happen with Terror - do not know about other enchantments effects.

I know that weapon enchants can change the overall look of your weapon, vorpal = flashing, terror = black, ect. but this is just color from standing around PE with no weapon enchants. Like buy a new weapon, equip it, go stand by Rinx and boom, christmas colors.

This happens all over the place actually.

It isn't 'odd colors' but is actually the modeling colors I believe. Modelers will generally use different colors for different pieces of models and that is what it appears to be since other bows will just be solid red.

I know for a fact Lesser Vorpal and [Normal] Lightning Enchantments cause this effect. I am unsure of any other enchantments which cause this. If you guys could tell us which others do that would be great.

P.S. Terror turning your weapon black is intended and is unrelated to this graphical bug.

Ah, I see you are right, I just tested it and without my lesser vorpal I get no xmas colors. But ironically this also happened to be the first time I noticed it on someone else's weapon as they ran by.

Both greater and perfect vorpal do this as well, but the more extravagant effect does cover it up somewhat.
