Lag and DCing.. only since newest patch

I was lagging really bad to the point my damage wasn't even hitting the creatures.. just stayed at full health. Then I Dc'd and I logged back in and more lag.. same thing. My connection is fine.. My speed and my line are fine and aren't experiencing any issues. I know there was some issues with lag before the patch from what I read. Not sure what going on but this didn't happen to me before the newest patch.
