For your case champion mage is really nice. Which is the GG T2 weapon

I use the Fomorian orb. I also have the Fallen Dragon orb which is nice because of the lifesteal. If you're just working on T2, either pick up the Ancient CN orb from the AH or farm some coins for the GG orb, imo.

2nd tang - depends on stats and balance which ones are better.

If you are a short budget, orb of the arcane overseer is nice, and if you need a CN orb, please buy from me ^^

I havent seen the arcane overseer orb drop in a long time now, but yeah champion orb is easiest one to get and it will keep you sorted for a good while

If you're just starting farming the GG orb is definitely the way to go. Try to get the Orb of the Thayan Zealot from dread ring dailies if you just hit 60, but for end game you want to aim for Fomorian Fabled, it has the highest top end weapon damage of any orb. Fallen Dragon is ok if you don't mind sacrificing a little bit of dps for some life steal. You should be able to reach 900-1k life steal without it though, which is really all you need.

Fallen Dragon Orb & Fomorian Fabled Orb have identical damage. The only difference is the stat layout (regen versus life steal & different stat weights), and Fallen Dragon has more overall stats.

If the formula 1 Weapon Damage=25 Power is true, then the Fomorians have better damage.

I dunno where that myth came from. Check your damage totals, power affects different CW skills adding different amounts of damage on each, you can easily swap to a lesser orb like going from fomorian back to ancient or gladiator and see that this does not hold true.

Formorians are max DPS, but I personally like the Fallen Dragon because I enjoy the convenience of having 10% Life Steal. With the amount of damage we deal our encounters are nearly able to entirely refill the health bar. With Endless Consumption I frequently see green numbers above 40k.

Dread legion. Easy to get, 100% free of charge, has lifesteal and is a part of a weapon set. What else do you need? This is the best orb you can get without paying anything.

Valindra's tower will be hard for a beginner but everyone has to learn.

    Forum myth? :)

I never tested, just read it here. Hence the "if" in my post.
