Hi folks,
I made a TR alt a while back and I've been leveling him slowly but surely. I'm wondering, if the more pricey enchants like vorpal or plaguefire aren't an option, which (if any) of the cheaper enchants are worth looking at?
Terror could be a decently cheap option, I suppose. Its similar to plaguefire where it will debuff the target.

If you are not going to be able to go with Vorpal or PF, I agree with the others who suggested Terror. I made my own and upgraded it one rank and was fairly happy with it until I went Vorpal. I still have it, too. I'm not sure that I'm not going to use it on another character. Makes your weapon look pretty nice, too. Unfortunately only the main-hand, though. =(

I have used Terror and bilethorn which have worked for me the bilethorn does poison damage for 6 sec and my character is at 9k GS
I have Perfect Lightning, though I wouldn't recommend the lesser rank as it doesn't have the only redeeming quality it has in PvP: The Lightning Arcs.
Lightning in PvP is admittedly a weird choice, but as a Combat TR whose role is usually clearing the mid swiftly and effectively, I find it amazing how the lightning arcs can wear down a nearby CW/HR by a portion of his health while you Duelist Flurry/Clouds of Steel your initial target (say, the Cleric). Additionally, the arcs could drop a nearby TR out of stealth.
Feel free to follow my style if you ever decided getting a Perfect Vorpal or Perfect Bilethorn doesn't suit your budget. Lightning at greater and perfect ranks are significantly cheaper than the alternatives.
Caution: Armed with Lightning, you will not ROFLStomp the Bilethorn TR in a 1v1. You can kill the Vorpal TR quite easily as long as you can dodge the crit bursts.
