*What I should have titled this was what I would like to see :p *

SO, I am not quite sure it has been suggested for the next *module* but, I strongly feel that this idea needs to be considered. As much as PVP is balanced in its Classes, Gear scores are way off the chart. I have found from my own experience that it's causing a very bad unbalance in pvp aspect. here's my idea on the solution for this very obviously imbalance in the matches.

By the gear scores.

up to 9000 GS matches for first time inexperienced low geared players. - no armour or weapon enchants permitted -
9K to 12K GS matches for intermediate ok geared players - restricted to lesser enchantments-
12K to 15K GS for those more competitive players who has had time to invest enough - no enchant restrictions-
and finally the 15K on up for the people who decided to spend their life savings into the game ( joke)
this on top of the open play domination as an optional thing so we can still have that option to play the way it is now.

Another idea I have is Guild vs Guild up to 10v10 with a match setup agreement on what restrictions to enforce via menu ( i have seen this done in another mmo which will remain nameless).

Another thing that I have thought about is seeing a Team camping the other teams base, being very abusive and taunting them. This is immature and not good sportsmanship and causes newer players to not want to play, perhaps a penalty zone right out side of bases, to end that silliness, My belief is you have to enforce good sportsmanship if they wont just be good sports. (I my self handle it by going stealth and knifing them down of course but, most of the time i never have to deal with that on the rogue).

Now I can assume that maybe these ideas aren't new, but adding a twist to them in what i can see would balance things a heck of allot better.

How would you handle GF Gear Scores? A 16,000 GS GF is the equivalent of, what, maybe, 10,000 or 12,000? This is an actual question, not a Troll attempt. I mainly PvP with a GF and can get my GS to well over 17,000. And it is WORSE than one with 15,000, because of the Double Power Feat.

Indeed, matchmaking should be based on performance, not gear score. For starters, because GS is a terrible calculation of gear (not including your most powerful gear, weapon and armor enchants), and also because it calculates parts of your build that aren't gear, like feats.

hmmm, being I have no experience on the GF , I didn't know that GFs gear scores are off balance by that much. seems that my idea can only work if they balance the way gear scores are rated, I have to think about that one cause that could get complicated ,, chances are we are not going to see these changes I have in mind so I wouldn't worry about it , but it would be nice to see a better balance in that feild, giving more people a chance to actually have fun in pvp

    Why GS gap?

That is pretty stupid. Basically player are just gonna lower their gs with purpose so they can be in a group that they can easily dominate.

For exp PVP player who already have 9/10 it doesn't matter anyway, they do premade most of the time can't even brother to stomp those poor pug.
