Hello, I just wanted to ask how does assets on weaponsmithing with 40% quality affects or improves the weapon or how it is :?

Some profession tasks have multiple tiers of results. See the image below
While not weapons, the results are the same. As you increase the quality the chance of getting tier 2 and 3 results go up. From 1-100% your chance to get a tier 1 result decreases as your chance of getting tier 2 increases until you have 100% to get tier 2. From 101 -160% (the current max), your chance to get a tier 2 decreases as your chance to get tier 3 increases.
Tier 2 and tier 3 weapon results have better stats.
This applies mostly to rare professions though there are some common tasks that use it.

If you craft a fomorian dagger with anything less than 100% quality on the Tier 2 result, Sod's Law says you'll fail and waste your fragments.
Don't repeat this person's costly mistake.
