Decipher Thayan Writings "Completed 25/24"

I did my dailies today and noticed that the "Decipher Thayan Writings" was available although I was already at "Completed 24/24"...
Out of curiosity, I started the task and it worked. I got to "Completed 25/24". Of course, the ingredients (10 Thayan Scrolls, 5 Vanguard Scrips, 1 Thayan Cipher, 1 gold and 2000 AD) are now gone.
Although not a huge issue, this should normally not happen. Or?
(With "Study Thayan Writings" it did not work.)
