Well, I am wondering why does this companion have GWF powers. Isn't he supposed to be a some kind of rogue? Especially with the type of dice he has for SCA.

Perhaps the first sign that they will be introducing the Brawny Rogue soon?

I thought that was an odd name for him, too. If you read the little blurb about him, it states he used to be a brigand or something...

Clearly he's a GWF that just conned us into thinking he's a rogue.

Those are indeed GWF powers, but that doesn't make the Con Artist a GWF. They just need to change the description of the powers to something more fitting for the companion.

I remember back in 2nd Edition, the Con Artist was a Bard Kit, and could wield any weapon that helped him/her pull off the con better (with a minor penalty).
