an odd thing with shield

I have had many people come to me and ask my why my shield color is purple, every other persons is blue, I do not understand this. Why is my shield color purple and not blue like everyone else i see? Does it have to do with race? I am a Half-Orc.

No, if its in mastery its better and it turns purple. If its purple and not in mastery then it might be a graphics problem but I'm not sure on that.

You have it on tab. Take it off tab...no really - take it off tab - there are far better spells for tab. I used it on tab for a while and didn't feel like the increase in damage reduction was worth it, and it didn't push mobs that much farther either.

I don't use shield at all except on rare occasions (only one rank in it) but the only time I see a purple shield is the effect from spell mastery.
