Loss of reagents when refinning

I was refinning from Radiant Enchant rank 7 to Rank 8 using the Preservation ward, prior to try a coalescent Ward, the outcome was a faillure but when i wanted to re-try using the Coalescent ward i no longer had my 2 reagents 1 Greater mark of Potency and 1 Radiant Rank 7 enchant.
I discussed with other members of our guild who have seen issues with presevation wards marked bound to character.
This is frustrating since it costs AD to get certain Reagents and loosing them or having them destroyed when taking proper measure not to does not give much confidence in the tolltip sytem claiming you won't loose reagent.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    Yes had this happen to me as well.

    The wards are there to prevent the loss of regeants. I lost both my preservation ward and the mark of potency in a failed upgrade attempt.
    There is no such thing as Pleather Armor.

    Were your wards in those instances Bound/from Coffers or purchased ones from Zen store or from AH?
