Just wondering if I should even bother with the blues that I get from random drops, or save the scrolls/AD. It seems like lvl 60 blues don't even sell for the price of a scroll on the AH. Does anyone else even bother with them? I've given up on greens a long time ago.
You'd ID blue/green gear for the gold, as they sell for 1 silver if you don't. Id say most of my gold comes directly from the drops I get while doing dailies.
I tend to ID blues, but not bother with greens. The sheer quantity of blue drops mean that I often don't even loot the greens, due to bag space concerns.

Sharandar/Dread Ring quests will give you dozens of ID scrolls for free. I identify all the blues I find and sell them to get gold.
I made a thread not long ago pointing out the lack of purpose unidentified greens have at max level and how identifying them brings nothing to the game.

Over a month of doing dailies or how? Beside the fact ID scrolls are pretty scarce, the amount of blues that drop are almost equal or sometimes more. Sometimes i end up with more blues than ID scrolls but still, this isn't the issue.
One can NOT say that you identify greens for gold, that doesn't happen, you LOSE gold by identifying greens. You may think those scrolls are free but they aren't cause there's an opportunity cost to it, beside the fact it's your time and while you can say you were gonna do dailies regardless you could also sell the scrolls at AH, the AD you get from selling scrolls is worth more (and can be converted) gold than the identified green gives from vendor.
I repeat, identifying level 60 greens makes you lose gold, not gain.

I usually send blues to my alts in preparation for their lvl 60 hour of fame, ID a few things my current char might need, ID a few things when I need money and scrap the rest. As for AD, I don't have that issue. I've never bought a ID scroll in my life, and I'm not going to start now. Then again I have 99 Lesser and normal ID scrolls, all from loot, and are doing fine on my Greater ID scroll collection from loot. If you stop wasting them, the collection will grow nicely enough.
Personally I don't even pick up green or blue gear anymore , I save the id scrolls till I have 99 and then sell them on the AH , the only time I do bother saving blues and id them is if I'm leveling an alt and need the gear for the alt.
I'd really like the ability to opt out of even rolling on green and blue gear that so many people feel the need to pick up , especially during combat , that need/greed screen popping up mid fight is so annoying , especially when they pick up like 4 or 5 items mid fight , can't see a thing -.-* .

Vendor greens without ID'ing them, and ID all blues. I've never purchased scrolls and have over 100 on both my main characters now from doing the Sharandar and Dread Ring runs regularly.

You are the only to mention greens. OP asked about blues.

I always ID blues, i have over 70 scrolls sitting in my inventory, i could easily indentify all the blues i get in a day. Greens i dont bother picking up at all however.

There just aren't enough hours in the day, especially given how slow the AH can be during my usual play times
