Tried doing this foundry quest because it was short and figured it might level me. Boy, was I in for a terrible surprise.
First off, the grammar for this quest was atrocious. It really needs work and so does the story.
Apparently cannot be soloed.
After arriving at lake, you have to kill a big guy. He is surrounded by what appears to be about 20-30 mobs. And not the trash mobs either. So without a group, getting to him is next to impossible. And I'm a GWF for information's sake. Hate to see how a DC would do.
On top of all these killer mobs, poor grammar, and poor story, there is NO campsite in the area near the guy. There's also no go back to town option either. You click on the door in PE, magically get swept off to this lake, and are stuck there. Thank god for the return to previous map option.
My rating on this quest 1.5/10. Scrap it and start over again. The idea is not to make it godawful hard and annoying, but to give people a fun and enjoyable quest they can do away from the main storyline, while gaining some experience. Or gold and AH gear in the case of 60s.
Unless you have a group, and maybe even then, do not attempt this foundry quest.
