The should add "animal feed" that you can give your mount; It could invoke some kind of reaction from the animal, (animation-wise), and perhaps provide some short term buff while riding them - like being able to take an extra hit before being knocked off, or an extra 10% speed buff for an hour or something.

If it's free cool, but they'll charge you for this kind of stuff.

what? It's a virtual tiger. You're really going to complain about that instead of the 900 other virtual animals you're lighting on fire, filling with arrows, cutting to ribbons, stabbing, or smiting with the divine power of the gods for 15 experience points?

Light the virtual campfire, and your virtual tiger stays virtually warm for the rest of the virtual night.
Light your virtual tiger on virtual fire, and it stays virtually warm for the rest of its virtual life.

MEOOOOOWWWWWW! (or would that be WOOOOOFFFFFF!)

(lots of needless use of the word 'virtual')

Does anyone else think the tiger mount is out of proportion? It seems like its way too long. Every time I see it I can't help but think that.

From an old dusty tome discovered in a frozen cave -

"Dear diary. I am beginning to question my own moral fiber. I lay awake at night pondering all the evil deeds I have done and it pains me greatly. An oh, how evil my deeds have become. Why just today while I rode out to slay countless innocent Lizard folk, steal their property and ransack their homes I actually slapped my trusty and fierce tiger on its bum. I am ashamed of what I have become. I mean, it just isn't right to slap my tiger like that, is it?"

I never even paid attention to the animation, until after reading this. Busy play the game. It looks more like the toon is slapping his own backside more than the tiger's. If you want to get technical in discussing the actions of a fantasy character, riding a fantasy animal, in a fantasy game.

We should not be riding tigers. Carnivores should not be ridden. Riding herbivores is ok. Carnivores should be accompanying you, and assisting you, on your killing sprees; while you proudly ride on the back of a herbivore.

I think you are smart enough to come up with an alternate 'go motion.'. My choice id "don't buy a tiger"and I have more mounts that i can ride at one time anyway.

I find it disturbing that to get my tiger mount to "go" i smack his hind leg, haunch.. isn't this a kin to a portrayal of animal cruelty... :( Why can't you ride the tiger mount like the horse mounts :(

Disappointed, in that particular animation. :(

I disagree, and even though I have more mounts than i can ride at one time, I would make an exception for a . . . Griffon.
