Weapon Enchant (Archer)

Hello, so I'm thinking of getting a weapon enchant for my Archer, but am sort of torn between Vorpal and Plaguefire. Could you share your opinion on the choice?

I have 34,1% crit chance at the moment (Royal Guard set, a lot of Azures slotted, no CN weapon yet, so it can go up). So far, most people recommended me Vorpal, but I am leaning a bit more about the Plague Fire.

My thoughts about plaguefire (comparing the best ranks, so Perfect Vorpal and Greater Plaguefire)
- Vorpal is +27% dmg on crits only (185% with Black Arrow -> 235%), so about 10% total dmg increase with my crit chance (+ MoA + Prime Critical + Correcting Aim, too complicated to add to my calculations)
- Plague Fire, on the other hand, is 8-9% dmg increase for whole party (okay, 4 people if we take away cleric). The downside is that is takes 3 attacks to apply (shouldn't be that bad with Split the Sky and Split Shot).
- Plague Fire gets useless if any other party member has it. That's probably the biggest problem, but I don't see many people running it nowadays?
- Plague Fire is cheaper and I like the look more. :D Shouldn't effect my decision, but it's something

So, I'd like your opinions on the choice. If somebody has tried both and has the exact calculations, perfect. If I forgot something about either enchantment and you remind me, even better!

(Also, a bit of a side question: What's the deal with Terror enchantment? Is there anything to it I don't see, or is it just a gimped version of Plague Fire?)

edit: edited my miscalculated %s to not confuse anybody who looks here.

45% Defense reduction is 9% damage increase, given that all are capped on ArmPen. If it was 45% dmg increase then everyone would go crazy.

On the question itself, nothing compares to Perfect Vorpal. It's so good, and it's why it's so expensive. Most easy way to boost your damage and brag about it.

Plaguefire is a party damage booster, it takes some careful encounter use to fully apply it but I think it's worth it in classes that have encounters bypassing the rule of 5. Like CWs and HRs (Icy Terrain/Split the Sky).

Personally I'd go with Plaguefire, because I don't like the Vorpal's cheesyness.

I've actually been thinking about the lightning enchant like some gwf's use for pve. We have less base weapon damage on our weapons compared to a greatsword, but with split shot, you hit so many mobs at once, and so many chances for it to chain. My worry is that it may be too much additional dps and pull even more aggro to me which will turn my ranger into a bloody smear on the ground.

Ah, sorry, didn't realise the difference between reducing defense and reducing dmg reduction. In that case yes, Vorpal is probably ahead for personal dmg while Plague Fire will be better for party (as there is always 1-2 Wizards). Thanks.

Gpf will result in faster run times if the team is also well equipped. If p vorpal is too expensive, you will still notice a good damage boost from normal or greater vorpal.
