Well, let me throw my 2 coppers into the mix here. I joined PWE strictly for Neverwinter back in October. At that time, I installed the arc launcher. I had no idea it was an "option" at that time. I can say that though my IT level is very, very low, and my computer is roughly 4 years old, I have no issues with the ARC loader. I love the feature that I just open it, click play, wait for the next screen and hit play again. I have enjoyed having it, and it makes my gaming easier. At this time I have no intention of adding any of the other PWE games, but I might. Having a central launcher just makes sense to me. This is really no different then a lot of other game hosting sites. One password, and you can play on a variety of games.
The only complaint I have is that on the launcher the scroll bar is too skinny and hard to grab at times.

Here's a tip: if you want to experiment with other ARC games, just click the "Play Now" button on their information page. Here's the "tip" part: If you don't like the game, just right-click the game tile in the Library and choose "Uninstall". It's handy-dandy and clean, easy-peasy simple as pie.
Because of this simplicity and "clean install and uninstall" feature I wasn't afraid to explore (almost) all the other games (it turns out I do like three others; Star Trek, Champions and one other, and I'm anal about the "cleanliness" of my computer hard disk). Basically, this is one of the "features" of ARC no one is talking about: the ease of installing and uninstalling additional titles without it mucking-up your computer.
I just thought I'd mention it.
As for the naysayers who whine and complain about ARC: There is no point in attempting to change any minds, they are dead-set in their beliefs and that's their right. So I have just ignored them for the most part unless they start spreading actual misinformation. -shrugs-

I have no desire whatsoever to use this. It's even more painful when I'm trying to access the website to find out more information about the new module and keeping getting sent to this godawful PoS which doesn't tell me anything. But sure tries to sell me things.

Arc website sends you to websites that try to sell you stuff? I have never seen that , when I access the arc homepage all I see if the Neverwinter news page on a rotation of all the recent news ,it never tries to send me anywhere to sell me stuff. You sure you haven't got some adware on your comp?
