Good day to all of you!

Could anyone of you please share some knowledge in making a Pure archer build. i know that the HR is a switchable weapon user, but i only wanted to focus on archery.

i'm planning to make my HR as a Wood Elf. but i do not know what is the best stat roll for it. could anyone share their experience?

i do not even know what is the meaning of T2 T1 etc... sets i have been reading to the guides posted :p
but i think i will understand them someday. i just wanted to know the prelim advice/s to make my HR cool and nice at PVE and PVP. :D

Thank you in advance people! :D

Allow me to direct you to Kasenpoint's Ranger Guide and Voltomey's Ranger Guide. Both are very good and give some interesting insights into the class and ways to approach it. I use both when I need to reference information or if I need to redirect my thinking. Voltomey also makes good comments on the workings and effectiveness of most of the skills, and even goes into a little detail with the armor sets. Kasenpoint's is very clean and easy to follow, and he makes some good points about Archery in PvP and ways to get the most bang for your twang (you know, cuz bows "twang" when you shoot them ... nevermind).

As for T1/T2 (again Voltomy touches on these a little), it's really just grades of Epic (purple) gear above lv 60 blue gear. It starts at basic Unicorn/Drake gear, then increases as you earn rewards in Sharandar and Dread Ring, or as drop rewards by completing Epic level 60 dungeons (the same dungeons you did coming up to 60, just a LOT harder). By the time you get to the point where these are relevant you'll have a better understanding of the game and how the different armors affect you.

Oh and I almost forgot don't be afraid to get creative. The greatest feature of the Ranger class is its versatility, so don't fall into the trap of relying on guides to tell you how to play. Play around with everything until you find something that works, then play with it some more to see if you can't multipurpose it.
