So, I'm sure it's been discussed and broken down many times, but as I couldn't find one in my quick search that was close to this time, going to bring it up.
Is there any plans at all to replace Trance with something remotely close to useful to bring both Drow races into parity with every single other race in the game? Most get CC resists, AP/Stamina regen of some sort that is incredibly useful, and Drow get to recover faster at camp fires. Woo. If I was part of the group who'd paid 200$ to get the Menzo Renegade, I'd be furious over getting stuck with Trance also.
Anyways, what's your all's take on Trance, and whether you think it should be replaced or not.

Well, humans get 3% more defence, and its 3% of the actual stat (30 points per 1000 defence), debuffing allies when healing them is a bigger issue with the drow imho

Half-Orcs have a 10% speed increase for 3s on the beginning of a battle. It is pretty useless for me as well.

I want to say I agree with you, but actually I find it really good, and I haven't really noticed any disadvantage with my Menzo Rogue, infact I'd go as far to say that the faerie fire debuff is actually pretty uber, perhaps more so than things like crit severity alone as it affects the base damage you do, and hence also the crit damage...
I don't think any of hte racials are particularly gamebreaking, my persona favourites thoug hare the Half orc and Teifling. I do think this compares though.

I love the debuff that both Drow get, but I meant the healing at 2x's speed at campfires. That's the one that is basically useless. I don't think standing at a camp fire for 1-3 seconds shorter than someone else is worth giving up a good racial that most other races have in place.
Half orcs with their 5% crit severity can be nice, but I would also think the short run speed boost could be nice, at least from a pvp perspective to help with catching down a kiter initially or something along those lines. Don't see overly much use for it in PvE, although I don't have a 60 so I don't know what end game might be like.
I can't really see or feel any racial bonus I get on all my characters except for the Menzo Drow's "trance" (half-time at camp fires) - so, um, yes: I find it very useful (fortunately I don't die all that often, but when I do: I greatly appreciate the shortened time at the fire).
Of course it really hugely unprovokingly sucks big time that the Devs chose to even add that camp fire cool down injury thing to begin with, but I digress. As for other racial bonuses: the differences in classes and that I'm not a min-maxer contributes to my not really feeling (or paying much attention to) their traits.
So to the OP: I hope they don't replace the trait (unless they choose to rollback the injury system, but we both know they won't do either).

I think it's 5% more. My GWF has 3/3 of the feat that gives extra severity and I'm pretty sure she has 95% severity at the moment.
It's 5%. Half-Orc master race.
Except in pvp it's halflings.

However, to me, all other racials are dwarfed by the human ones, mainly the 3 extra feat points.
