Hi Everyone,

My in-game name is Damanhur, and I am an experienced GF. I currently play with a GF DPS, and I am pretty satisfied of my build. However, I believe that I can get more DPS from it, while still be able to tank properly during dungeons :)

What do you reccomend me to do?

I am using a slighly modified version of SCROTOBAGINS Knights Captain “Team Buff” Hybrid DPS / TANK Life Steal Build. Would you reccomend me to keep my build for max DPS? change some talents? or take into account the possibility to change my path to WEAPON MASTER (so that I can get GWF talents nd powers)?

Thank you in advance to all those who reply :)

That said, what is your actual rotation of abilities, class abilities, dailies? what's your standard routine when dealing with a group of mobs, minions + elite and bosses? Do you PVP or PVE and what are you trying to maximize for?

    I am a Tiefling, with Str 24/Con 22/ Dex 14.

I use Fighter's recovery and Villain's Menace as daylies
Lunging strike, enforced Threat, Frontline Surge as encounters pro PWE
Lunging Strike, Bull charge, (frontline or anvil of doom) for PVP
Combat superiority and Trample of the fallen as passive skills

The reason why I want to maximize damage is because this build is not defensive, and it is highly based on lifesteal ability, therefore, higher is the damage, more i can get cured :)

If you want have a better look to this build go to "mmominds" website.

SwordMaster paragon is actually less damage and more of a tank paragon than Iron Vanguard because it was designed around having a weapon with x2 the amount of base weapon damage. So the paragon doesn't scale well with GF's weapons.

Depends on the situations you use your GF in. I feel like any type of hybrid in high-end parties is a complete waste. You won't run CN and what needs to be tanked in VT/MC/T2 can be tanked by a full Timeless Conq build that stacks power.

I've got Grand Regent/Fabled 2x2, GG for more tankiness and Knight Captains teambuff set nearby whenever I feel switching can speed up the run. But that's rarely the case.

Thank you for your tips, I am now testing the new path "Swordmaster", and I have to admit that I feel I make more damage. Have anyone tested it already?

I usually use timeless complete for PvP, but for PVE I wear a complete Knight's captain to buff the rest of the team. Please, add me in your friend list, i'd love to compare your GF with mine :) I am Damanhur@damanhur89 in game.
