Neverwinter patching

So I downloaded Neverwinter for like the entire day, and it was at 97% and it suddenly gave me error 36, so I searched google for error 36 neverwinter and it said I had to deactivate ondemand patching, now I did do that and I have tostart over with all patches again, which is now even going slower then before.
Is this normal? How can I just skip those 97%?
I'm not at around 30% again..

    internet speed can be affected by a lot of different things. you could do a trace route to try to determine where the issue lies, but you would have to do so without any download in progress because that would affect your tracert test.

    your download starts all over again in the event of an error to make sure all of the files are error free and downloaded. this is very common.
