I'm looking to get the fabled or dragon swords for my GF and GWF and I'm having a hard time totaling up what it'll cost in time and AD/assets.

If someone could chime in with how much the mats would (what I would need only to level and make them, as fast as possible) cost and how long it would take to get weaponsmithing to 20 I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance.

The weaponsmiths themselves, and getting weaponsmithing to 20 are rather trivial. It's the tools, shard(s), and other epic materials, (like dragon eggs), that are the tougher hurdles to get over. Check the auction house to see how much 3-4 purple tools will cost you, then go from there for the other components...

I'm pretty much looking for a total tally of what it would take to make the GF/GWF swords for weaponsmithing. Obviously I would share assets and purchase components as needed. I have some dragon eggs but I can't imagine I would need more than a few to get the job done, right?

So how many assets do I actually need here and what other mats are required? (one item from MC/VT or two or three or what?)

You're probably best off making the Dread weapons since the materials are a lot cheaper then the Malabog ones , I think for the Greatsword you need Dread stone , riser and blade fragments and for the longsword you need Dread hilt , quillon and blade fragments. Also use the 5 blue crafting tools to take you over 100% chance of success plus the blue ones are a lot cheaper than the purples.
