Fawn's Spring of Life

I got the fawn but its ability is totally HAMSTER. Seriously, the moment you attack an enemy the fawn places its Spring of Life circle where it stands and since the fawn doesn't melee but always tries to stay far away from the mobs the circle is always placed where you never need it. Totally stupid for melee classes but even for long range classes this is not helpful in almost all cases. I am playing a DC and when I cast a spell the fawn drops the circle anywhere somewhere behind me but not where I would move to stand inside.

The fawn should rather stay closer to the caster and drop the circle with a little delay where the caster is standing not somewhere in the open field.

Wow. This is exactly the problem I imagined with this companion when I read it's powers. I'm kind of glad I stopped grinding for the fawn now.

Still, Cryptic can easily remedy this problem by increasing the radius of the Spring Of Life. The circle should encompass the player when the fawn is at it's maximum point away.

Ok, since they doubled the light output, I went ahead and picked up a fawn. The size of the Spring of Life regeneration ring is fine but:

    1. It should be centered on the player when the fawn spawns it. If the player steps out of the ring, that's his loss. The way things are now, you first have to notice the ring, then get inside it which takes you away from the fight and also wastes seconds of the ring's life.

    2. The fawn uses SOL too soon, in my opinion. It uses the power at the beginning of the fight but that's when I don't need it because I'm already at full HP. Perhaps SOL needs a trigger similar to Nature's Vigor.

Kinda unlike my experience with fawn...True, it does not hit mobs, but it runs to them and more often then not they come after it... It also likes to switch the mobs groups and after pulling one it will go for another.... I wish it would stay behind my char instead of making me kill all the spawn on the map, but it just won't.
