The video illustrates how a usual day goes in GG for a Luskan player. There are multiple instances of very close PvP encounters and everyone can feel the tension that comes from balanced PvP when you never know the winner until the very last moment.

Posting this since lately there were multiple instances of complaints against the GG system, so I believe somebody should do something to balance these claims.

Please enjoy!

That's rough. I only play PVP if I have to (glory grind or whatever) but like GG to get into the Dwarf King Crypt, wisely chose Delzoun for my account guild and rarely experience a loss.

You always wonder if GG could undermine itself. Players have to notice over time that it's completely one-sided and will join Delzoun, no? So theoretically, there won't be enough Luskans left to start the PVP event.

I think GG is all about coinfarm and the T2 dungeon and it's more of a horse-race anyway. So even if you are PVP focused, you should go Domination and abandon GG and the Luskans.

Players noticed way ago that Delzoun has premades from PvP guilds while Luskans ride on 50% horses and AFK at fire 10 at a time. I could leave for a slew of Delzoun guilds this very day myself.

Leaving the losing side just so I can win however is the epitome of low, LeBron James style.

Below spawn camping is a nice, pro technique as well, especially as you already won the match. It is a shame most of these guys never solo queue Domination PvP either, so my chances to catch them alone in PvP and share some stories is practically null.

    Oh well.

Two issues i see on Luskan side. The first one is many people often going AFK quickly after they think the faction is going to lose. Well, not really AFK but staying near the campfire and waiting. The second one is that they always run away from fights and never chase backcapers with a team of 3-4.

You win GG by fighting the enemy team to push them back to their spawn. My guild is delzoun. When I attack a luskan 1 vs 1, he runs away. When we attack 3-4 vs 3-4 half of them run away to try to cap something else. I don't know if it's just me being lucky, but I see more people trying to fight everyone they can on delzoun side. The only issue i see in this video is the ~10 people staying at spawn and waiting for the end of the match.

When it comes to GG, I miss the mindflayer days. So evenly matched.
    Mindflayer - Exodus
Daria - Dwarf Sentinel GWF (mistaken for Halfling a lot)
Karia (aka "The Pug") - Human Combat HR
Kayd - Human Conqueror GF - Retired

And I agree on that. I am a Mindflayer player. What I'm saying is that no matter the shard you were on, no matter the faction you took, you had to learn to play the game. I see so much potential in every player if someone just offered to play with them, instead of the "GS or gtfo", or "looking for x class for Castle Never must be EXPERIENCED" people.
I hear "learn to play" all the time, but it seems to me that it should be defined as "my class is balanced, except when others beat it, then THAT class is OP"...

mod note: this thread has been cleaned up of personal attacks and trolling. if what one is about to post sounds at all rude or insulting, then please do not post it. the OP's video is one anecdotal view as i'm sure there are others that can counter it with an opposing view. keep that in mind when opening your discussions and do not attack each other or each other's opinions. thank you.

    Nice video!

I feel your pain man. I'm Luskan and go into GG whenever it is up. I don't need the coins/gear (probably have over 400 currently) and the only reason I do it is the practice of fighting massively outnumbered battles. It's the only place you can get 8v1 experience :)

When getting spawn camped like that, I usually sneak out the back door and attack from behind. Sometimes I can pick off 2-4 of them before they know I'm there.

    Keep fighting he good fight!

    Hey Jaro :)

I'm mostly in the same situation. I don't need the coins. I don't even need the daily, I can get full RAD/day by drake seals&leadership/PvP daily.

I could go to Delz, as I'm 100% you could as well, pretty sure you got proposals to defect :)

It is a very imbalanced situation, so it makes me wanna try to win even more, just because I know the odds are stacked against us.

As for trying to go to the back, yeah I do that myself, pretty unsuccessful most of the times as a CW lol, as the guys i kill get rezzed before I get to stomp them :) However, in this video I wanted to show the AFKers, the guys not jumping down and trying to fight from spawn, and the visible differences in gearing (any slightly experienced player can spot from a distance greater/perfect SF/Vorpal etc.). Also the guild names, known PvP guilds on Delz, Luskan unknowns.

It's a shame SB and Fear Itself which are very good PvP guilds play GG so rarely. We could slowly turn the situation towards more balanced games in time.

Anyway thanks for dropping by, looking forward to more pugs with you.

I'm Luskan but I stopped bothering with GG a month ago after sitting in the queue for like 28 minutes and not being able to get in a match for a few days straight. I assume that's because there were fewer than 20 people on the Luskan side even attempting to queue on those days, something really should be done to balance the numbers out.

It's really too bad that GG has become this imbalanced. I think your video displays what has slowly become the norm for most matches. Recently, it seems even in matches where we get off to a good start or are leading after 5 minutes, people start to afk as they just want their coins and don't feel we have a chance of winning. With the gear/skill imbalance on the two sides, Delz does have a heavy advantage, but it's not insurmountable.

I personally would love to have a team chat for all 20 people. I think a little leadership and organization could go along way to improving our fortunes. I'll see what I can do about getting some guildies to queue up with me. I'd love to get a full 20 and give Delz a little surprise ;) I'm not going to defect, even though that seems to be the current trend. Pre server merge, I loved playing it. 20v20! Sign me up :)
