How do you level the event profession?

I am level 1, but none of the tasks grant profession EXP.

How do you level to 2 ?

It works like alchemy and the summer festival profession. There is one task that you do that will get you all the XP you need to level up. So gather up the required mats and start up the task. If you don't see the task, then make sure the hide tasks whose requirements you don't meet filter is unchecked.

As above, but also look at the only task that grants xp - craft / gather those items, and you're set. Certain items are tougher to get (Ring Of Lights), but if you do the SCA "Winter Festival" quest, you should be fine.
