Patching after maintenance... ??

I've played neverwinter just recently... and i've noticed that they are doing maintenance more often...

and when i try to patch it's always 1GB above... is it normal or its happening just to me...???

i want to play as soon as the maintenance is over but the patching is taking me too long to patch...

can someone give me advices/tips so this will stop happening if this is not normal...

    Can't change it, its common. They do a weekly maintainence every Thursday and when they notice any bugs of meaning (which can influend Cryptic in a negative way) they do extra maintainence. Keep in mind though; if you find a bug which might be negative for you, than it might take a while, if not months, if it ever even will be fixed, haha.

    Well they generally patch every Thursday (or early Friday morning if you are in NZ/Australia area), and they had an emergency patch this week as well.

    Recent patches have been big because they have added a lot of content and/or adjusted a lot of content.

    Expect another large patch today with the Winter Festival content going in.

    You can overall reduce patching, but you get a big initial patch, by turning off "patch on demand" in the Launcher settings. Once done restart the launcher and wait for all the patches to DL, and then you have less patching except on Thursdays. :)

    They aren't doing patches more often. It has been once a week for quite a while now. If you want to reduce the amount you have to download, check to see if you have on demand patching enabled. You will have to download to get into the game, but will have to download files when zoning into a file if you have on demand patching enabled.

    You can also download the patch when it goes up on the preview server a few days before the live server. That will either reduce the amount you actually have to download to 0 or make you download a smaller amount since it will transfer over the files you downloaded from the preview server.

    Also remember that you can normally start downloading the patch about 15 minutes after the servers go down.

    if its commong i think i just have to bare with it and have more patience... ^_^ and the only thing i see as a bug as of now is the rangers weak grasping roots cause it goes through immunity.

    how can i get to preview server?

    Once you are signed up, it will be an option in the launcher.
