I am constantly replacing my blue asset l with a lower quality white asset that is qualified to perform the profession task. Especially annoying is realizing it later once the higher quality assets are assigned having to go in and cancel the task, re-assign a lower qualified asset, to free up the higher quality asset for something that requires that level.
Why don't you simply... assign the higher level task with the higher quality item first?
Can't sort tasks by highest required serf
Can't sort tasks by highest required asset
Can't sort tasks by both highest required serf and asset
Rare tasks changed
Lower "level" task required higher asset and didn't scroll thru entire task list mentally looking for the highest assets required and balancing that versus the rewards on every single potential task.
Why should the UI automatically assign a Five Star General to escort a Merchant Caravan?

I like the system how it is personally. The fact that it assigns the highest asset first is of benefit to me as I like to fill the optional slots with lesser assets, which incidentally only grant a speed bonus if in the optional slot, unlike the higher assets which grant the bonus regardless which slot they are in.
The only improvement I would like to see is that when i click to assign an asset to the optional slot, either assets already in use should not be shown or automatically be moved to the bottom of the list to make assigning assets a bit more fluid without endless scrolling
I'd like a professions "Options" button, both in-game and in the gateway, that would bring up a few settings so we each could configure for the behavior we prefer.
