No need, I have done my testing as have a lot of people on this forum. There is a significant DPS difference.
If you want to assume HV is inferior, be my guest.
And yes, I also tested 2 2piece 450 power setups. & even with the 7k power, it was inferior to HV.

70-80k damage over an entire dungeon is nothing. Thats the difference between a shard missing and a shard hitting but placebo pie is delicious
agreed, thats why high vizier is far superior, you can immediately see the results just from using an ice knife with the bonus and without (it applies 3 stacks with that instantly so you can notice the difference)
the new set just doesnt cut it, unless you want to stack GS and ignore damage.
He was actually being sarcastic & saying HV doesn't make a difference.
Target dummies are the best targets for damage testing, but I'm pretty sure he isn't going to bother doing any testing.

The only time you shouldn't wear HV(if you have it) as a CW is if there's another HV wearing CW...or if you don't for some daft reason use any of the powers that proc the debuff.
even when another wizard does use it, its still good in trash clearing. not every mob will have 3 stacks instantly. and those that do no have max stacks you will do more damage on. remember that the HV debuff is applies before the damage is calculated.
May not apply so much in boss fights, but you can not always keep up full HV uptime with 1 wizard unless he sacrifices a bit of damage, even then its prob better to both just go full damage using both sets then 1 using it with a HV stacking loadout, and the other without. (I havent tested this situation, so it is just speculation)
If helpimblindinrl does not agree then that is his choice.
Either this helpimblindril person is trolling or doesn't actually own a High Vizier set with which to test. No one who uses it can mistake the damage increase for anything other than huge. The math is right there on the screen.
Like grimah, I don't mind HV redundancy in groups (for exactly the reasons given).

Check page one. But I did test it: 70-80k dmg in an entire CN run. Thats even less then one cast of Sudden Storm.
