Reaping Strike vs Wicked Strike

I'm considering reskilling my Destroyer Swordmaster to a Destroyer Iron Vanguard, however due to the loss of WMS, I would need to pick up a different At Will for mob clearing.

Did some light testing on Preview just now and found Reaping Strike rather unwieldy and buggy (sometimes ends up in an endless loop where you cannot attack), but Wicked Strike damage was fairly poor compared to what I'm used to with WMS.

So in a way, both are worse but I have to choose the lesser of 2 evils.

Reaping Strike seems to be a lot more damaging and could be used as minimum charge to just add Deep Gash onto every enemy. However, it is as said above, unwieldy to use and doesn't benefit a lot from Unstoppable in terms of charge speed increase. Determination gain is pretty moot given that just about anythingcauses you to go Unstoppable anyway.

Wicked Strike seems much less damaging (although the damage on crits somehow seemed a lot higher than +78%) and what irks me is that it reduces the damage the enemy deals. Essentially, that is reducing the amount of Determination gain and potentially making the perma Unstoppable much more difficult to maintain. On the other hand, I'm not sure if the debuff of Wicked Strike counts as a control power or not. My guess is no, but if it did, that could be a tipping point.

What did you choose and why and how has it worked out for you?

try Instigator with IV, it buffs wicked strike dmg, and the damage debuff isnt bad, it makes incoming dmg more manageable making it less likely that u are bursted down before u manage to pop unstoppable

Im using Wicked Strike on my GWF with GPF on my weapon and mostly with 4/4 AoW set. While im not in unstoppable im trying to hit as most mobs as possible using Threatening Rush, when i pop unstop im starting to use WS and my screen is all orange from criticals. Iv tried RS on preview shard but for me its to slow loading and to low damage on less then half load. Plus i can cancel both WS and TR animation same as WMS before mod2.

Friend of my with same build using 4/4 Fabled set so get unstoppable more often and hes happy with it as well.

how I use reaping strike from module 1, i could not adapt to the IV precisely the impossibility of this switch with the new Atwill. so I saw the wicked strike would be the best option ... but you'd be limited to aoe anyway.

I would suggest that you try to use the wms as debuff for reaping strike. I've reached in party, vs multiple targets, 19k with a radiant sword / Normal vorpal.

ps: earlier, use these 2 atwills together can be a very frustrating experience ...
