Hello Authors,
i lost count of how much time i started a Foundry, claimed to be fast and easy, and wasn't able to finish it (or finish after a big amount of death); very disturbing.
I'm a Cleric and suffer very much multiple mobs because can't kill quickly a mob as others classes.
Can i ask to test your foundry for DC?

Thanks for the attention.

Safe travels.

Shameless plug: Run my campaign. it's designed just for players in your scenario as most combat is optional (I focus on story, but optimize dialog for zergers). (See my signature for them - I'd write them here, but I can't see my signature right now! :)

Oh, note: they can be found in the FOR REVIEW tab of the catalogue.

Jumping on the shameless plug wagon:

My "Old Magic" has an Easy difficulty selection, and my Under Siege has so many keep soldiers it should also be pretty easy.

One suggestions to foundry makers, is add a dialog asking if the player things they need help to spawn a npc.
    Thorin Oakenshield - 60 DC | Floki Longarm - 60 TR | Tiny Tank - 60 GWF

Also jumping the shameless self-promotion: My 'Absence of light' has only a couple of easy-peasy mandatory fights, the rest are a punishment if you get puzzles wrong ;P But still, there is not a single stacked/mass encounter - I play DC myself, so I know how much pain the battles can be.

My character is a lvl 60 DC, so I know your pain. I would recommend setting "Adjustable Difficulty" as a search term. "Easy" was seen as a negative term when they were working out the tags.

I play each of my foundries on live with my DC (all authors should play theirs on live, most ones here do). So if you are up for puzzles, check them out. You can also pick up an NPC tank in the 2nd and 3rd quests.

And yeah, stacking is a real PITA for us. I also hate the cries of "Well DC's shouldn't play my foundry!" Maybe I shouldn't heal your butt in a Skirmish, then?

I test all mine with my DC. It's all my DC dose, it's sole purpose you could say, so I'm not even that great with it. But Alas, I still get DC's claiming my quests are too hard sometimes, also I get DC's thanking me for a DC friendly quest. It's swings and roundabouts same as any other class really.

I do hate stacked encounters though, something that is not needed in any way. Just because you need to use 10 potions dose not make a fight hard. The foundry has bracketed easy-medium-hard. If you want more then authors should use waves. I think authors know though, it's been ages since I have ran a quests that has frustrated me for this reason.

Having said that I would love to see a quest designed solely for Rangers. I could see the need for stacked encounters for that. ;)

The Adventurer GF helped a lot in this regard. If someone can keep the encounters from chewing on me for 10 seconds I can put out a decent amount of damage. Getting those 10 seconds can be trouble sometimes. So it seems if people are wanting to help DCs in their quest that having an optional NPC GF might make all the difference.

Antonkyle: That might be a level thing, the disparity between DC reports to you. When all mobs regenerate at level 60 that seems to be the break when DCs can keep up with everyone else.
