With the new artifact mechanics+players mentality of faster = better is just me or do more of you see the path of groups with no need for tanks, trs or dcs.
With rezz, group heals, self heals +increase stats, burning down the mobs fast and easy tanks are not needed(been so for a while), now they dont need trs any more and now dc will be only taken becouse of the mitigation buffs more then the healing if taken at all.
Ranger still valid i guess but with the way the developers make the content i cant see any reason for tanks other then that they are some that want to play them and have friends that let em come to dungeons.
Is it so hard to manage to make some content that really demands tanking, its not like other games suffer from above problem..
nahh its not impossible, u just need to make tanking fun. the oldschool tanking cant exist in action games, but it is possible to make tanks needed, its just harder than spawning 500 adds and require knowledge of action games
going as gf vs any boss 1v1 is fun just the bosses are too easy for group play and the only difficulty comes from adds
making tanking needed would require fixing threat so bosses dont chase random target, replacing boss cc with more dmg so squishies are 1shot, making bosses mobile and phased so the fights arent tank and spank, for example FH 2nd boss, increase aoe of his charge, 2x or 3x dmg and reduce cd on his charge
