M2 Known Issues: HR weapons in AH and Queue System

Hey all!

We've identified a couple of known issues that we'll be addressing very soon:

-Melee weapons for Hunter Rangers are displayed in the Auction House under Equipment/Main Hand. There will be a fix for this shortly that will correct this to Equipment/Off Hand. After the fix goes live there will be a few days where old auctions of Ranger Blades will still show up under Equipment/Main Hand but eventually all Hunter Ranger melee weapons will show up under Equipment/Off Hand.
-The Queue System may sometimes place players in parties for already-completed dungeons.

We're working hard on solving these issues ASAP. Thanks for your patience!

How about dividing TR weapons for main hands and offhands, at least for lvl 60 stuff? They all go into main hands now which might be confusing for newer players.

Seriously, its been broken now for almost 2 weeks, are you seriously expecting us to believe that for all the money you make off the players you aren't rewarding that by fixing one of the major features in the game that is faulty? If it was a sub game you would have done it by now i guarantee.

Come on guys, sort it out, its xmas leave i want to enjoy my gaming time while i have it. Pisses me off that i have spent money on this game and you don't get a decent standard of support in return.

If it helps, I've always been placed in an empty dungeon (at the very end) when I try to join Lair of the Mad Dragon, but every dungeon up until that works fine. Haven't tried any dungeons after it yet, but that's mostly because I can't log in at all anymore. (see the bug-reports on details. Short story is the game crashed, and now I can't log back in at all.)

The queue system always places me in an already-completed dungeon and has been for at least a week now. This breaks a major feature of the game, namely the multiplayer aspect. It's a little silly to have this problem for this long. You've just released a major content patch with a new DPS class and now it's extremely difficult for people to find a group for a dungeon due to the swarm of DPS players and already extant lack of tanks/healers. The longer this goes on, the more people are going to get frustrated...

    Please fix...soon.

Yeah i would like to add my frustration at the group finder being broken for this amount of time. I understand its Christmas time and all that, but being Christmas time people want to enjoy their time off playing games also for some of it. I cant enjoy playing this game and my new ranger character the same because the group finder is broken. Especially as someone said earlier, with more DPS players than ever with the new ranger class, it couldn't be a worse time.

The LFG channel in the Enclave is insane before dungeon delves and its a chore just to try and find a group. It has lessened my opinion of the game as i now think will i get rewarded for dropping money on this thing? They cant fix a major game error for arguably the main core gameplay mechanic, in 2 weeks. Thats how long it has been since Module 2 released, 2 weeks. Come on guys even you must read this and think that is unacceptable.

I'm not normally a negative player and i usually rally to argue against people whining on forums for games such as STO. But as i said, 2 WEEKS. The queue ALWAYS takes me to a finished dungeon. I bet if the zen purchase option was broken in the zen store it would have been emergency patched right away.

If you queue just before or within a couple of minutes of DD starting you do sometimes get into a full party at the start of a dungeon , otherwise yeah the system is totally broken placing players into completed instances , not really acceptable that it's been this way for so long now .

My HR can still only access the AH through the NPC's in Protector's Enclave. Any ETA on fixing this issue?

I understand your frustration. But as you say, they just released a major content patch, and with a new class, no less. Of course there will sometimes be bugs, and some are more severe than others. What's worse, not all bugs are easy to find. For instance, when they were going to release Doom, they had the game up and running for ours on several computers, just to see if it was working properly. And work it did... except after two hours or so, one computer crashed. Turned out they had a heart-counter to check the MC's heart-beat (or something like that), and when it reached the maximum, it didn't reset as it should on one computer. It was a tiny thing and hard to spot, but it was enough to crash the game. (all this according to John Romero, btw.)

The point is, there will sometimes be unexpected bugs, and some bugs are hard to find. Please be patient. And while the queue is broken on some dungeons, gathering a full party and entering through the door usually works. You might want to try that instead, until the bug is fixed. :)
