Is this how I supposed to do with Cleric in pvp?

-Look at my twitch videos pls. Its brand new.
-I got half epic pvp gear rest is HAMSTER, no need to get into detail.
-You see what skills spells whatever I use

After coming back months of absence, I don't see anything changed really in cleric healing and pvp. I'm not a pro but I'm not too bad either. I don't believe I should have a tier XX epic gear to stay alive for more than 2seconds in pvp. I feel that 2-5k heal per spell cast is just ridiculous. Yes people telling me I should heal for like 10k but that's probably will only happen IF party member standing in Astral Shield Area AND I use divine And I got two spells on him/her. But a succesfull Bastion of health cast on 3 party members and they receive like 1/20th of their health its just nonsens. The whole concept is terrible frustrating, I would like to play healer cleric in pvp but this is just crazy...

Not sure what feedback I epxect from you guys though I assume trolling as usual. But I spent 8years in wow I was pretty decent with all the classes in pvp, so I got a tiny bit of clue how to play such games (again I know I'm not pro).

I watched a few minutes of a recent Neverwinter PvP video of yours, and this is what I was observing:

    - You're trying to play DC as if it were a healer class from almost any other MMORPG, running around the action while casting heals. It doesn't work that way in this game.

    - Bastion of Health is not a skill I'd recommend for PUG PvP or for most PvP. You pretty much have to use Divinity for it to heal decently and not have a ridiculously long casting animation. Allies also can't see the splat that you see when you target Bastion, so they are prone to walking right out of it unless you use Divinity.

    - Following from point #1, your At-Wills are extremely important to your function. Not only are they essential for generating Divinity, most of them buff or heal your team in some fashion. Astral Seal also synergizes with effects that proc with healing.

Bottom line: when you aren't healing or skating around for dear life, you MUST be attacking. You need the Action Points for your Dailies, and you need the Divinity for your encounters. Even the best cleric is dead in the water without Divinity or a Daily ready.
    Sacrilege - Warlock
    Contagion - Cleric
    Testament - Wizard
    Pestilence - Ranger
    Dominion - Paladin

People in this thread will tell you you're doing it wrong too.

playing a healer in pvp consists mainly of putting lots of regen gear, deflect and def on your char and skill yourself to be a deflect build. that is how most pvp dcs play their class. it is stupid and it is wrong in my opinion (i play a healer myself but he is a pve healer, no regen/def/deflect build). those healers' only purpose is to stay alive as long as possible and block nodes. they don't care a lot about healing or buffing others or do a lot of damage (like some gwfs do, too). they are just those kind of players that seem to have fun watching how 4 people try 3 minutes to kill them until at least one of them is leaving the match and then the rest leaves, too, because it is not fun to beat someone and don't see a progress.

if you try to really play as a healer in pvp you will always be number 1 target, will be permanently kicked around and knocked down and you will always find a tr behind you unstealthing and critting you or permastealth around you and throw knives... and you will die in seconds. it is really frustrating to play as a healer in pvp - especially nowadays when the gwfs knock you down and kick you around more often due to new paragon path as well. on top of that your heals won't heal through the spike damages trs and cws deal anyway. rare cases (for example when the other team is really weak) when you can keep your team alive.

i have seen 2 healer teams often that were beaten badly. they lacked 2 dps while the other team focussed the healers with 4-5 dps. the heals of the 2 healers couldn't do much against that. they laugh at your astral shields and just kick you 30 meters out of them easily all the time. until you get up again you most likely are dead anyway. that happens very often when one team has 2 healers.

to sum it up: if you don't just want to run pvp for the little glory for salvaging items and finishing dailies then be prepared to be frustrated to the max. if you want to play pvp a lot with a dc you have to reskill and gear up for a regen/def/deflect build.

Stacking regen/def/deflect is not just for "troll survivability", it's beneficial in basically any context: a healer that dies instantly is less useful to the team than a healer that doesn't. I'm super-faithful-specced myself (and usually healbot/buffbot in PvP) yet I still switch to regen blues because it's vastly more effective.

Also, of course, we can mitigate damage like crazy, even with basically zero wisdom. We may lose a bit of top-flight heal power by downgrading from purps to blues, but mitigation remains the same. Assuming you bring foresight. Do you bring foresight? Bring foresight.

    Other tips:

Stick seals on the enemy team whenever possible, try to stick shields down NOT directly under yourself, but under teammates currently fighting on the node (this confuses GFs, because they often see the AS anim, assume you're casting where you are, and go straight for the 'punt out of shield' attacks. It also forces them to spend time working out where you're going to skoosh to next. Hell, the often punt you into your own shield. This never fails to be funny).
Since everyone is going to be focus-firing you, rely more on your regen to pull you through, and remember that two people working to bring you down means the rest of your team is 4v3ing the others.
Use forgemasters, because in divine mode it turns any attacker into a slow-moving mobile health station.

This guy has been complaining for almost a month now. He refused to listen to the rest of the DC crew who have told him the same thing. He wants a full healer and those who don't agree are wrong to him. Maybe. Hopefully. He'll listen here.
