I've noticed that some rogues now switched to bilethorn enchantment and using it instead of vorpal in PvP(no wonder, it burns stealth as hell and apparently ignores some of the defence).
Was thinking about swapping my p.vorpal for p.bilethorn too but the question is bilethorn any good in PvE?
I like PvP but I don't want to lose my PvE efficiency as DD.
If you have 50% crit, and if you're an Executioner, in my opinion you'd be better off abusing Overrun Critical's effects with P. Vorpal. I guess you'll only use P. Bile in PVE if you're anything other than an Executioner. Then again the damage boost of P. Bile is pretty nice as compared to the other non-Vorpal alternatives for non-executioners.
I am pretty sure Overrun Critical is a flat damage that Vorpal doesn't help whatsoever.
From my limited testing, Perfect Bilethorn did significantly more damage than my Greater Vorpal in the new Skirmish, with everything else being the same.

Oh, very interesting
Could you please do more of accurate testing for this? I'm really curious.
He was referring to the Overrun Critical effect with Vorpal enchantment. Vorpal actually partially applies to OC, as it is calculated after the initial base + crit+critseverity. So while it still applies, its percentage is diminished.

Just needed an opinion of people who actually used it.
