im trying to get more hits on my foundry.

ive been shamelessly promoting in zone chat and have gotten 68 plays, but there has to be an easier way.
it finally available for daily now, but you still can not find it on the list unless you type the name in the search bar.
am i doing something hard. or is it just this much work to get people to try out your foundry.
if so. this takes 90% of the fun out of making foundrys if you have to spend countless hours promoting the thing beggin people to check it out.

any input would be appreciated.

Welcome to foundry hell. My gawd - 68 plays? I've been merely promoting in foundry forums and I've got about 50 plays across 5 different quests! And I've had some up for months.

The "new" tab in foundry search is bugged so it returns the results from the "best" tab, so noone can find new foundry quests. That's a major issue.

I'm gonna have to start shamelessly plugging my stuff in zone chat!

...and you can add your voice to the "please sign" foundry requests in my sig.
...as well as vote in a couple polls:

If you come across any foundry bugs, please add them to this posting so I can verify and keep pressure on Cryptic:

With out proper rewards comparable to the rest of game content foundry's will continue to receive minimal plays. I am one of the lucky authors with a subscription base who has been featured and campaign is in the best column.

Unless you are featured you cant expect more then 1-10 plays per day even on the best list. I have seen some brilliant foundry's(Silver Road, Nature of The Beast, The Return to Baldur's Gate campaign) that all in total don't have 68 plays between them and they are all better then in game content.

So unless you get featured you will struggle with plays. There are currently over 3000 foundry missions.

Just keep asking them for foundry coin reward system, or our own campaign system. Wouldn't be hard for them to create a boon system for campaigns. You would quickly see 100's of plays of 100's of foundry's.
As a author. also remember to play others works to give them some plays.

I play as many as I can.

I completely agree. I do not think it would be hard to implement a system that rewards players AND gives opportunity for revenue. Special mounts, fashion items, etc etc for trading in foundry tokens which allow access to a foundry store that allows players to purchase ($$) items only available to those with the tokens.

Players would only get the tokens at the end of a 15 minute quest or longer. Also, can only run the same quest once per week.

Sorry to kind of derail a post...but it puzzles me why the developers would not find a revenue opportunity with us as their labor....strange.

I rather enjoyed this adventure. Got a little lost once or twice. I accidentally walked into the appearance change vendor's shop and thought holy jeebus, a foundry that makes me change my hero?! Then I realized what happened. I really liked the visuals. The sewer with lots of roots and otherworldly stuff was pretty awesome. If that's a premade map, it's still cool. If it's custom that's double awesome. Could have used some named bosses maybe, I felt like I was fighting random enemies and wasn't necessarily as invested in the fights - but maybe that's just my personal taste. I gave you a 4/5 rating, and would play it again.

Please check out my first attempt, Wrath of the Death King. Still under For Review... NW-DLO3CX6DG

68 plays is pretty good if you didn't have them in early open beta. There are too many quests now for people to find yours currently.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.
