How do i get better quality assets?
I've got white miners, prospectors, carvers etc. coming out my ears, but how do I get the green, blue and purple ones?
Short of AD --> AH or AD --> Z --> Z-Store --> Professions Booster Pack.
I've read some Wiki pages (I know they cant usually be trusted) that say you can make a green prof. from 4 x white but how???
Is it finally a T5/U/T6 KDF Science Ship?

You cant go from a white worker or asset to a green one. The only way to get green or better assets are from the profession packs or the AH.

Some people have reported getting better quality assets when performing the upgrade task, (takes 4 like assets to produce 1 of the next higher quality). Otherwise, you need to buy them from the AH or via profession booster/asset packs.

This is what random Wiki's and posts are saying, but I haven't seen any option to do that, other than very early in the professions, I think there was a 'train' option or something for Leadership??? ... I guess it's back to the AH and Z-Store then.

Its RNG (random) when it does it. Ive never had to happen to me, but it was confirmed by a CM awhile back. Ive never heard of tools upgrading, but workers. Like you'll upgrade 4 Guards (rank 2 leadership workers) to make 1 Footmen (rank 3 leadership workers); but instead of getting that footmen you'll get the green Man-At-Arms.

But again it's RNG, and most likely really terrible odds RNG; so much so that the time youd probably waste to get one, you would of made the same amount of AD to just purchase one off AH for AD.

It works, but it is so rare so you cannot count on it. I have lots of professions at 20 in the meantime and in the process of getting my workers to 3rd rank (I made 4 of each kind plus lots more for all the leadership twinks) it just happend ONCE! i got a green artificer person when I tried to combine 4 rank 2s to a rank 3. The sad thing about this was, that this was supposed to be my last upgrade for the artificers because I basically was almost 20 anyway. So this green asset was worthless at this point and didn't help me anymore. And on top of that: Green artificers are the cheapest of the green workers in AH anyway. So cheap that you can just buy 4 of them and don't bother at all with upgrading.
