When my friends are online the list will say they are offline

When my friends are playing Neverwinter my friend list says the're offline and i'm tired of it :( . is this happening to anyone else?

    Unless I'm mixing this game up with another I think it is possible to change your status to show you as offline when you are online , have they done that? xD

    There is a setting that makes you invisible. Press 'O' to go to the social menu, click on the preferences button at the bottom right of that window, and then you can change your visibility status.

    If your friends are making themselves invisible to all, you will see them as offline, although they can still message you and you can see their chat in guild chat/zone chat, etc.
