    Alchemy

If you want to make more AD from the normal professions you'll need a sizeable startup investment...around 5-6mill AD and 10-20 dragon eggs should do.

How so? I personally gave up doing anything in alchemy because it wasn't anything special and ingredients cost too much and had a bunch of small cooldowns for making the ingredients that made it a pain.

By making the purple shirts and pants, (preferably w/ the slots for enchantments), you can eventually recoop the startup cost of the tools you need, then start to turn a profit.

I was referring to the alchemy part. I can see a profit from shirt making, but it does require a sizable investment in the first place so for most it's best to just buy the shirts themselves and let someone else do it.

A few of the potions sell for decent amounts of AD. Dyes still sell reasonably as well.
