i dont understand how come there crit cap on 3000 and not all u can get - what would be the reasons of dev to make such a thing instead of putting more point in crit ( or other states) and getting better result as such?
It is not really a cap of any kind, soft or otherwise. It is just diminishing returns and players, for sake of quick explanation, just pick a figure at random and call it a "cap".
The only true general soft cap in the game for a stat rating is for Armor Penetration because all known bosses have a maximum of 24% mitigation, i.e. 2,536 Armor Penetration.
There are other soft caps, i.e. caps for a specific reason (like the old RSI/Recovery cap for Clerics to achieve 100% Astral Shield uptime), but they are almost always class-specific.
