was wondering if we could discuss everyones various strats at countering the different classes of NW in arena, hopefully we can bridge each others knowledge and promote community well being.
this is mine:
CW:bait double blink if possible, dodge during root and knockback if possible. do more damage to them than they can to you.
skills: LB, Is, CoS, ItC
DC:time on target is the key here, use anything to maintain sticking power and wittle the dc down (may be impossible if enemy has large gear advantage)
skills:deft, daze, lashing,DF (can be difficult to use)
TR: the longer stealth usually wins, skulkers + stealth talent can really make/break this fight. also knocking out of stealth can spell a win
skills:PoB, shadow strike, decoy
GF:nerf to CoS has made this one extremely hard for me, 8 blades is not enough to break the shield usually
skills:?
GWF:lay dow and cry, hope to harass as long as possible and make it out alive
skills:?
can anyone fill the gaps here? im at a loss with GWF and GF recently

GWF just run around in a circle while they're in unstoppable mode. There are some good guides on pvp for each class, but I'm feeling too lazy to find them.
GF- I run with impact, Shadow Strike and ITC.
Stealth up, spam those awesome CoS, usually that'll take about 50% off their guard down, the next step is very important and requires practice: 1-2, Jump and LAND the 3rd hit of duelist flurry at this point their guard meter thing will be drained or really close too depending on how they geared up and should be able to get some bleed on them, usually the DF animation with so many hits going on them, the panic button kicks in and they'll try prone the HAMSTER outta ya, wait for it (since during DF, you'll be immune to CC, use ITC and SS- pop a few impact shot and dodge since they'll usually bull charge then, back in stealth and rinse and repeat.
Duelist flurry is your best friend in PvP vs GFs.
For GWF it's a bit harder to do due to unstoppable popping all the time and they're probably harder to take down but not impossible. Gotta CoS from stealth and land the 3rd hit of DF but this time pop ITC right after DF since they'll usually takedown, roar or flourish your ***, jump around kiting popping some impact shot their way, when the dash on ya, dodge roll and stealth, rinse and repeat.
This is usually how I solo those guys and it works, sometimes thought it take a while. Skulkers Set is your best friend, especially if you've also taken cunning stalker heroic feat.
All in all, it all comes down to how good you are with DF, I'm not that good yet compared to some of my guild member who ALWAYS lands it but I'm getting there. Gone against some really good rogues and 1vs1 where I got my *** kicked but it's good practice going vs the better rogues and stuff since you do learn a lot from them.
I've met some very good GFs and GWFs that likes to bait your DF so watch out for those
