I put everything to dmg type:
pow, crit, AP2%, 400dmg, 3*20power
Only the last one was hard for me because of the stamina.

I tried it all, in +dmg, a combination and in +def. When playing, for me the +def boons are the most viable option. Why? My dmg is more then sufficient, I am always on top of the chart except when playing with esp or bizzy :P. Not that it is an dps race but dead mobs are the best control if you ask me. So +defense, deflect, hp, heal on hit and stamina are for me the most viable options. The longer I live, or the more dmg I can take....even more dps can be squished out of it.
- Defense
- Deflect
- 700hp
- Heal on hit
- Stamina
And given the fact the artifacts will also give +stats bonus (which I will take with +dmg stats), companions that are giving passive bonusses (also + dmg) in module 2. Even more dps will be done, and some survivability which is sufficient with these boons.

^This guys knows his stuff.
Also, the 4th boon procs basically NEVER so it really doesn't matter which one you choose.

Perfect for PvP, for PvE, meh. I already have more than enough defenses for 5-man dungeons. If I die it's because I screw up, I lag, or my team screws up and I'll die next whatever the boons. So if you're doing PvP mostly, this is a very good choice, because there you will find yourself many times in 1 vs 1 situations when you barely survive, and some additional DR or a lucky deflect can save you and let you go for a pot and back in the game.
So in the end, it sadly comes down to somebody making a choice based on what they do most, always having to give up on good bonuses for either PvP or PvE.
As for me, since I do mostly PvE (since PvP brings no AD income), I took:
- Power
- Crit
- 700 HP (too good to pass on it)
- Damage (barely procs, a full CN run=35K damage from this Boon, very very low, the same is true for healing boon)
- more power

Hi, WoZ!
Your survivability focused boon selection for PvE (CN grinding) looks fine!
One thing to note tho, 4th boon (both) has an IC of 60s. Go ahead and check ACT logs (CN run) for Elven Fero****y, you'll be amazed /giggle
AP2% vs 700HP?
I already got 13 const, 2/3 toughness and use ancient fugitive belt's of revolt instead of the blue one.
Can swap it for ancient necromancer belt in certain boss fights(CN).
Heal vs dmg:
I think I hit way more than being hit. But it rarely procs indeed afaik.
stamina vs power:
stamina is for pvp, power is for pve by my opinion

I didnt know that, havent run ACT in a long time..And I took defensive because somehow I always die of something stupid, a bad move or whatever so to make me survive a bit better +def. And this difference I really notice.
Little bit offtopic: how can I test if EotS is working with ACT? From what I noticed lately it procced 1 or 2 times during a whole CN run. Maybe it is just not showing that it procs, and therefore I have a lot of timing with my skills going wrong.

Thank you for your argumented answer ... Can I ask your opinion about power vs defence and crit vs deflict?
Just in case anyone's wondering.
crit vs deflect - crit
Well I got vorpal on me so crit all the way. Beside Silvery(delf) is cheaper than azure(crit).
pow vs def - pow
Def is a better defense attribute than defl for a cw. Even so i can bring good DCs from my guild so my survivability isn't lowered that much.

EotS procs should be listed under Outgoing Damage or something for your char. In a CN run, EotS procs for me roughly 100-140 times. Some of these are those "fake" procs that come from a SotEA cast, which will basically have the inverse effect, guaranteeing your Shard will NOT crit. Stupid bugs
