Art for items?

(This is a re-post from the art & fiction forum, but since it's also a question and since that forum seems to be a little bit quieter, I hope it's okay to ask in this one as well)

I am an art student and since that means that art is my one and only strength in life, I was wondering if the Neverwinter folks would be ready to pay in items for art of their characters?

Of course I am talking about quality work, seeing as I have quality items on my want list.
You can check my gallery here (and for comparison, my real money prices here) to see what I have to offer (mind that lately my gallery has been filling up with doodles though, you can check my personal favourites for a smaller collection).

So yeah basically I wonder if anyone would be interested in a goods exchange of such sort, etc.
Mind you though I am mostly out for lockbox companions and/or mounts. I'd accept AD but from what I heard it's really hard to exchange AD because you have to do it via Auction House and there's no other way idk.

Tuna you say? Hmm.. I might consider that ^^

On bit more serious note: I am more or less interested whether your idea haves a 'chance of survival' as I had similar one (as fellow artist ). But even if it fails on this one single thread: no worries. If my evil plan launches despite barrage of projects for university, then I shall recall names of all art champions in the forums to ensure the coalition of artists take over the forum for sake of world domination!! (put evil laughter here)


Anyway I wish you luck. Also the AD exchange might not be too hard as via AH you could put some rubbish on 'price of art' and have it bought by commissioner (in fact: it can be done even via phone by the gateway... don't ask why I know >_> )

What leaves me in question though is: are we (artists... cause: oh many appeared and their skill is awesome) even allowed to trade our arts with players for an 'in game' gains? I do not really like violating law (LOL) so.. yeah. An admin advise might be a big help in here

unfortunately this is against the terms of service:

10. User Conduct

You must observe these Terms, all Rules of Conduct, all applicable laws and all basic rules of etiquette and common courtesy when using the Website and the Service. (h) Impede or disrupt the Service or the normal flow of game play or dialogue in the game or in Interactive Areas on the Site or use vulgar language, abusiveness, use of excessive shouting (ALL CAPS) "spamming" or any other disruptive or detrimental methods in an attempt to disturb other users or PWE employees;
(i) Engage in, encourage, or promote any illegal activity, or any activity that violates these Terms or the Rules of Conduct;
(j) Engage in any actions that defraud or attempt to defraud, scam or cheat others out of any items that have been earned through authorized game play;
(k) Cheat or utilize unauthorized exploits in connection with the Games or the Service;
(l) Using or exploiting any bugs, errors, or design flaws to obtain unauthorized access to the Service or to gain an unfair advantage over other players,
(m) trade, sell, auction or otherwise transfer any virtual items or goods of any nature outside the game; and/or
(n) Take any action that disrupts the Service or that negatively affects or may prohibit other users from enjoying the Website, the Games or any other aspect of the Service.

PWE may take any actions and impose any penalties we deem necessary to discourage and punish any violation of these terms or any other illegal or inappropriate conduct, all without prior notice or warning. The determination as to whether a violation has occurred and who is responsible for such act is solely within PWE's discretion, and is based on what we deem best for the community and the Website. By using the Website, you agree you will be bound by PWE's determination as to whether a violation has occurred and any penalty we choose to implement.

and because it is outlined in the ToS, any discussions of such trading is forbidden here in the forums.
