Was not sure where to post this or if it has been mentioned already. I would like to suggest that companion gear stays with companions like runestones. With the changes in mod 2 it will hopefully let people start using more than the stones. When you gear your companions you have to keep a bag full of items because if you move on into storage their gear is placed into inventory. Than look thru your inventory to equip your new active companion. On top of that you have no way of knowing what gear is on your active companions from the gateway.
My suggestion is to make the companion gear slots work similar to runestone slots. Make the gear stay with the companion even if you place them into your inventory. Also give those slots the mouse over boxes like runestones. This would allow you to browse thru your companions to ensure you didn't discard an upgrade for them. Lastly this would allow you to see what gear each companion has looking at them thru the gateway. This would allow you to use your professions to craft upgrades for you companions thru the gateway as well.
