Soulforged - I'm not opposed, but why?

It's already the best, by far, defensive enchantment in the game. Why is this enchantment being changed at all, and why make it even better or change it at all?
If anything, try buffing, oh, I don't know, anything else, because there's no reason to use anything but Soulforged already, except maybe barkshield for some toons.
There are something like 25 defensive enchantments in the game and 23 of them are absolute unmitigated garbage. Soulforged should be the last on your list to look at.
