Hide +4 armor, looks like platemail when equipped.

i made +4 hide armor for my hunter the other day and as i put the armor on i noticed it had a distinct platemail look as did the chest, arms, legs and helmet.
Is anyone else having this issue?
by the way he is a human hunter.

    Some of the Ranger weapons are placeholders at the moment , maybe some armors are too , my hunter has a weird helmet right now that looks like it would be more at home on a GF too , sort of a metal lions head with black feathers out the back .

    The GF look is a placeholder for the Hide crafted armor from +4 through +6 gemmed. There are many weapons drops from 50 to 60 including all the crafted +4 through +6 gemmed that have a shield as a placeholder. I am hoping this to change in the next patch.

    Yep, you've got it right! We're using plate gear as placeholders for the Hunter Ranger armor while we put the finishing touches on it. Once it's tested, the gear you have on Preview will automatically be replaced by the new, correct look.

    Some of the armor is going in with this patch, but there will likely be a few placeholder pieces still lying around as we wrap things up.
