Enchants Exchange!

Making a Perfect enchant is a hard thing, making 2 of them is even harder for a normal player. Now once i;ve achieved them some new class is coming or maybe some gameplay changes happened that can render my enchant useless. From what i;m seeing u do support the idea of switching enchants from one toon to another so :what if u make the perfect enchants bound to account and once slotted but make a trading post so that once i have a perfect enchant i could change that for another if i decide to change my spec or for any other reason ? Same thing for rank 8-10 enchants! Thoughts?!

On the preview server: They already changed the unslotting cost from AD to gold. So it wouldn't have to be account bound. Also they are completely reworking the enchant system. Nothing about an exchange, but you might want to check out what's been said in the preview forums.

I am aware of what is on preview. I wanted to be able to simple change lets say my Perfect Vorpal for a Perfect Lifedrinker without using the ah if something like a major change to the enchant happens see soulforge... Maybe for a fee of lets say 300k ad at a perfect level.

in my opinion, this completely undermines the entire purpose of dungeon delving. also on the d&d lore side of things, it would take some pretty strong magic to change one magical enchantment into another.

Strong magic or black market any for the right price :) We can do that already in game via ah or trade channel just that is tedious and doesnt help in terms of game experience. It takes a rly long time to build two perfects and if they are account bound, u cant rly play on multiple characters with the same enchant as different classes need different ones so for someone that wants to play more characters in the same time he;ll need more enchants, if a fee will be ask for them, pretty much as in ah maybe? between 300-600 k ad tho lower price might bring more ad in the end.. Also how many dd can a guy do ? i cant even set step in any t2 or cn:( only one that i'm still doing is the MC and cant wait for the new zone to come...

Edit: Add to the list enchants like plaguefire/tenebrous that changed alot so the buyers should be able to exchange them for something else if they are no longer suited for their play style. Or before module 1 when recovery builds were so good and we had to change to power builds after, i still have those sets with unslotted enchants and would have been nice if i could re-adjust my toon to the new direction without a double pay.

Previously, I would have completely dismissed this idea because it undermines the committment and value put in by players into enhancements (and enchants) - the only true in-game player investments because they can be moved between gear and characters.

But since Cryptic/PWE seems to have started doing that and much worse already by radically changing existing enhancements, like the longstanding Soulforged, and enchants (though at least Tenebrous changes were explained by the devs and more than understandable given the impact on the game), this may be the direction the game will end up going in the end...
