Hyenas' General TR PvP Equipment Builds

I'm Hyenas@zokir on Neverwinter. I spend pretty much all my time online PvPing. I want to share two of my favorite TR PvP equipment builds. They're nothing overly complex, but if you're interested in changing up your normal gear into something a bit different, here are my suggestions. General DPS Build
This is the build I use most often. I find this combination of items gives me a good mix of dps, defense, and regen.

This build includes the following items and my current enchants:
Piercing Victor's Mask - Rank 7 Dark Enchantment
Swashbuckling Captain's Armor - Perfect Soulforged & Rank 10 Silvery Enchantment
Swashbuckling Captain's Bracers - Rank 7 Dark Enchantment
Ancient Spymaster's Elegant Dagger - Perfect Vorpal & Rank 9 Radiant Enchantment
Ancient Spymaster's Ceremonial Shiv - Rank 9 Dark Enchantment
Piercing Victor's Boots - Rank 7 Dark Enchantment
Piercing Berserker Amulet - Rank 8 Dark Enchantment
Seal of the Executioner - Rank 8 Dark Enchantment

This is a new build for me, but I'm liking it quite a bit.

Tenebrous Build
This is the build I've been using recently, which includes 7 greater tenebrous enchantments.
The combination of greater plague fire and tenebrous enchantments is really quite awesome. The tene can proc from the plague fire DoT; it's an excellent way to catch runners!

    I like the Barkshield one. Personally I am trying a build with Plaguefire enchant and Skulker's set, and I found that the utility of PF is quite nice. Of course, if I had a Perfect Vorpal I would swap it with no second thoughts.

    So questions:
    1) Since getting into stealth is important, have you given some chances to Tenacious Concealment? Has helped me a lot, especially with many rogues using Path of the Blade.

    2) Why not going for the full Skulker's set? Is it because of Recovery? The increased Stealth is quite nice, I assume...

    I've never really liked to rely on stealth. I've always been more of a dps TR, but I'm starting to explore a few more playstyles now.
    The barkshield set will most likely end up with full skulker; I just don't have that at the moment (have to time my gauntlgryms right lol).
    As for tenacious concealment, that's another thing I've been meaning to try with time. I really like the extra speed from skillful infiltrator and sneak attack, but it might be worth it to switch it up. I'll have to see how that fares with my playstyle.

    I like your gear sets Hyenas.

    Question on your HP Barkshield one.

    Whats the reason you went with Radiants for power, instead of bringing up your ArP? In my own testing, and talking with other TR's, power is pretty useless compared to ArP.

    I believe you would do much more damage in that set, if you replaced your Radiants for Darks/ArP.

    Edit: I like the sound of that 2k regen and 4k arp, should link a character sheet with that gear on. Curious, and have you tried it in PvP?

    The radiants are all on defense slots for HP. That was my main purpose on that build was to stack up my HP.

    Having 2k regen and 4k armor pen together would be very interesting, but unfortunately those are separate. I can mess around with a few things and see if it's possible to come up with a combo similar to that though.

    Oh thanks for the sets, I was wondering myself about the whole thing.

    Wouldn't it be better to use a combination of Dark (ArP) + Tenebrous with that HP set since you've got 30k+ HP?

    I finished making my set and went with full skulkers for PvP and PvE, I'm stuck at 11.4k GS atm, thought it was going to be a big deal in pvp.. turns out it's more of a skill play than I thought since i've taken out some 14k GS people in pvp.

    Hell thinking of min-maxing sets just for PvE is giving me grief.

    On topic: Are you able to post that regen set? Thanks

    The problem is you have to pick and choose. I can't have 30k HP and tene and armor pen.
    To have more armor pen or tene, I would have to change up to items with offense slots, and that would sacrifice the HP.
    I do have a tene set that I can post, and I will post the regen set for you and also a set with 4.6k armor pen.

    I see, with the skulkers set I'm at 2.8k armor pen. Was thinking of dropping a couple to get down to 2.4k ArP and 3 or so slot with tenebrous but I don't really know how that's going to affect my GS unless i go regen or recovery to bump up my GS ><.

    With PvP, don't worry about GS at all. My PvE set gets me to 14k GS, but it does not compare to the functionality of the PvP sets that give me lower gear scores.
    Tenebrous is great, but I found it quite different to play with than normal enchants. I recently got a set of 7 greater tene, and it took some getting used to but it's nice to have.

    I see thanks. I was thinking that i would be able to use my skulkers set in pve but it seems I'm gonna have to build a PvE set too since all I see in Zone/LFG is looking for 13k+ GS or something however the good thing is (i hope) is i'm in a guild now and they do run all end game pve content.

    Wow. How's the op have such highly ranked enchantments when mostly pvping? Spend a buttload of money? I don't even have 1 rank 8 been playing since March:(

    I don't only PvP-- just mostly. The majority of the time I spent doing PvE was before the BoP patch.

    I'm not quite sure the relevance of your comment.

    If he/she spent $0, or %10,000, honestly what business is it of yours, and why does it even matter?

    He/she's posted some pictures of gear to possibly assist other players in ideas of builds.

    I got to fight you last night in a PuG group and you were a beast to try and take down with that team. I would almost swear you were the deciding factor in that match as the rest of the team just melted when attacked. You're a slippery one and make great use of mobility.

    Hmmm might have met you last night in a game. I was death incarnate. Were you sporting a poison enchant in your weapon?

    I don't recall. I do so many matches, but my weapon was a sword with plague fire. Would be blue.

    Hey Hyenas! I must ask about that fashion setting in the first pic, are those pants peasants garb? If not, what are those? Looks nice imo :) I have almost similar set with different dyes, just using golden pantaloons as pants.

    That's really a shame. Sorry to hear that.

    On a side, we are always recruiting skilled non drama-queens into Essence of Aggression. You should get ahold of an officer if you getting lonely and need a home =)

    Peasant pants dyed all black, my favorite fashion item :)
