Guardian Fighter's and Ferocious Reaction

This is when you use Fighters Recovery, you heal for another extra amount (80% or something) for the damage you did to him with the attack that triggered it. So if you finish with ice knife and it crits, boom.

    I've seen this bug many times before but have always ignored it til now.

    Just the other day, I was killing a GF on my CW, things were going as they always do, keeping him in a CC lock, etc.

    Then when he was around 15% of his health, all of a sudden, I instantly die, and he has a health gain above his head of twenty-nine thousand, 29,000.. Really?

    Even with Ferocious Reaction maxed out and with the special feat, you regain 35% of your HP, and EVEN if this GF had 40k HP, that would still only be 14k in damage to me, but no, he gains 29,000 HP, goes back to full health, and I die instantly.

    How has this not been addressed yet?
    Oh wait, I know how. It's cryptic.

    P.S. For those who don't want to do the math, he'd have to have 80k+ HP for him to regain 29k.

    I've never seen this bug on my GF or other characters.
    Has there been anything consistent that seems to trigger it?

    I run all classes and this has never happened for me on my GF. The only theory I have that could explain this is he had 30k HP, Ferocious reaction crit, and he had a vorpal.

    There is another post complaining about the same thing. Apparently its an exploit.

    I believe it only happens when you have a certain build or feat.
